Age:
23
Gender:
Male
Faction:
Principality of Zeon
Rank:
Ensign
Place of Birth:
Side 3
Personality:
Tristan comes off as a calm, confident, and carefree individual can often times appearing lazy and uninterested. In most regards, he usually does things at his own pace and on his time, this is not a trait that he shares with most other conventional soldiers and can often get him into trouble. This most often leads to a number of problems because it seems to others that he isn't taking matters as seriously as they are, and most times they are right. He didn't become a soldier because he believed in Degwin or Zeon, but moreso out of sheer necessity and survival. He isn't above lending a helping hand others or a offering up an ear for someone to vent to. He does know that there is a time and a place for everything, he understands that there is a time to get serious and will adjust his focus according to the current situation. He knows that he is neither a traditional soldier or is he significantly experienced pilot, more than that he has yet to even experience large scale Moblie Suit Combat, outside of skirmishes. Unlike his fellow soldiers, he isn't a fanatic or even a mildly devoted follower of the Principality's belief system.
Appearance:
Tristan is a little taller than the average man, standing at just above 6 foot tall and weighing in at about 175lbs. His appearance at first glance can lead others to believe that he is much older than he appears, something that he seems very pleased with and takes pride in. His physical build while not overly imposing, is muscular and lean, displaying a well conditioned physique. His red short hair stops midway between his neck and upper back with strands occasionally falling over his eyes and tying in with his older appearance, Tristan bears small bit of neatly kept stubble along his chin. His brown eyes are a lighter shade of then most, closer to hazel and much like the rest of his family he has a darker skin complexion than most Zeonic Citizens. He usually dresses more like a civilian or in a civilian manner than most unless he is explicitly told differently. On base or when he's talked to about his manner of dress, at that point he'll wear the traditional uniform of an Ensign, much like the other Ensigns in service of the Principality of Zeon's forces, although not without his own variations. He is almost never seen with a hat and on rare occasions will have his coat slightly opened around the collar. His Flight Suit is the Zeon standard with mild color alterations to better suit him, these alterations are made so that his suit's primarily colors mimic the primary colors of his mobile suit.
History:
Tristan was born into a traditional family that had been supporters of the late Zeon Zum Deikun. As his father was a supporter of the Republic of Zeon, he represent hi and his name with the standards that he believed in, he expected nothing short of excellence from his children and for the most part he was pleased, until Tristan was old enough to have an opinion. Tristan for the most part didn't care for the politics or history of the colonies, his father often attributed it to the possible that Tristan's Naivety was simply getting the best of him and that his youngest son would simply grow out of his ignorant ways and become a man he could be proud to say was his son. Though he learned that Tristan was not stubborn, just indifferent Zeon's efforts didn't resonate or move him like it did the other colonists, but he hid this fact well. With the death of Deikun, Tristan's family was spared during the purge as they were one of the few Deikun supporters that conformed to Degwin's beliefs although Tristan's father didn't seem as convicted as he was, Tristan was spared on the principle that his Father wouldn't do anything to endanger his children, not matter how much they disappointed him.
As Tristan got older, the amount of things his father found to complain about regarding him began to increase more and more. It was mostly without a legitimate reason, other than Tristan's lack of loyalty and pride, he did well enough in his regular academic classes and he excelled at his self defense classes. This did not assuage his volatile relationship with his father that soon culminated to the point of his father actually kicking him out of their family home around his eighteenth birthday. Tristan joined the Principality of Zeon's military forces no more than a year after that, intending to use the aid he thought he would receive to support himself. He's only recently begun his Mobile suit Training, to be more accurate fact he's only been a mobile suit pilot for little over a few year. His father eventually sought him out after discovering that his son had not only joined the Principality of Zeon's Military Armed Forces, but that he managed to become a pilot in a relatively short time. He'd came to the conclusion that his son had finally had the change of heart that he'd been waiting for and Joined Zeon's cause. This brought him a great deal of pride even if his son wasn't serving the same Deikun that he'd supported, and Tristan couldn't bare to tell his father otherwise.
He was sent to the war front after the Emergence of the Earth Federation's own Mobile Suits which caused a need for more Pilots to gain additional experience
